POSITION – Talent Solutions Director / San Francisco/Bay Area

Brill Street + Company, Inc., is a specialized Chicago-based talent development firm that places eager and talented college and graduate students on business projects, assignments and internships. As a refreshing, niche company within the human capital industry, we are currently seeking a successful, intelligent and highly motivated Talent Solutions Director (TSD) to help drive sales and relationship growth in the San Francisco/Bay Area market.

Our Talent Solutions Directors play a pivotal role in implementing full-cycle recruitment and placement services to support client demand. By simultaneously building relationships with client companies and regional colleges and universities, the TSD integrates entry-level talent into businesses by placing students and recent grads into part-time and fulltime positions.

The TSD will work closely with the Talent Manager team in Chicago to fulfill positions and solutions sold to client companies. We look to the San Francisco/Bay Area TSD to replicate selling success throughout multiple industries and within multiple functional areas of client organizations, developing single to many assignments within companies, and striving to develop strategic relationships that integrate Brill Street into the long-term human capital needs of our clients.

Reporting to the CEO, the Talent Solutions Director will be our initial and primary point of contact in San Francisco/Bay Area for all client companies in addition to students, universities and colleges.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A proven track record of successful transactional and/or consultative strategic sales
  • the candidate must be extroverted, self motivated, and metric driven
  • this position will require success in an autonomous environment, so the candidate must be an ambitious self-starter with high energy level, glowing positive attitude and motivation to make things happen
  • the candidate must have strong ties to the San Francisco/Bay Area business community, and an aptitude for in-person and online networking (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!)
  • the candidate will establish and maintain multi-level relationships with schools (college career offices, academic programs, student clubs, faculty, and other departmental contacts), client companies (particularly client supervisors and hiring managers) and Brill Streeters (whether on or not on assignments)
  • Demonstrated success in building inside relationships within a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong, well-established skills across the entire selling cycle, including:
    -- list formation, blueprinting and prospecting
    -- cold and warm calling
    -- conducting enthusiastic and engaging one-on-one meetings with prospective clients
    -- great propensity for listening and on-the-spot ability to confidently and trustingly discuss solutions
    -- performing effective and intelligent verbal and written follow-up to contacts and meetings
    -- closing new and repeat business
    -- ongoing relationship and referral building with clients, student, and college communities
  • Ability to maintain and utilize specific sales metrics i.e.: phone call activity, weekly appointment activity, number of orders generated, number and quality of prospects on 30/60/90 day pipeline, estimates of time to close and percentage likelihood to close on active pipeline.
  • Powerful and confident interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
