Junior Consultant - Permanent

• The Job:

  Our client, a consulting firm that partners with our clients to develop and maintain software testing practices that assure the highest quality deployments, is seeking several Junior Consultants. Junior Consultants are paired with senior managers to support the company’s internal and client deliverables.   Essential Duties:
  
  • Have an intimate understanding of the SDLC process and methodologies
  
  • Define processes and perform gap analysis to determine project scopes to report to project stakeholders
  
  • Work closely and present project progress to the team lead and resolve business users needs
  
  • Interact with non-technical users and relate high level concepts easily
  
  • Build strategic relationships through strong interpersonal and problem solving skills

• The Skills (Requirements):

  - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, working towards a post-graduate degree
  
  - Proficient in MS Office Suite ( Work, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
  
  - Knowledge of C/C++, Visual Basic, Java, SQL desired
  
  - Proficient working in Windows OS, web (IE, Netscape), and .NET environments
  
  - Adapts easily to new work environments/ procedures and actively listens and thinks logically to meet client problems
  
  - Able to work within team structure of varying sizes
  
  - Able to present ideas and technical data clearly and concisely, and must have excellent written and oral communication skills
