How does Brill Street work?
You apply online, or download an application to fax in. If you qualify, we'll contact you within 48 hours to set up an interview with one of our Talent Managers. Assuming there's a good fit, we'll place you in opportunities that match your talents and goals. During and between assignments, your Talent Manager will monitor your progress and be available for career development, such as interviewing skills and resume enhancement.

Is there a fee?
There is no fee for students to be a Brill Streeter.

Do I get paid... and how?
Yes – all of our internships and project assignments pay an hourly wage, which you get directly from Brill Street.

Am I guaranteed an internship or project assignment?
We can't guarantee you a position – but because so many companies know that we provide only motivated, highly-qualified students, nearly 100% of Brill Streeters are placed.

What happens if I don't want to take an internship that is offered to me?
You are not required to accept any assignment. You are encouraged to be open to new opportunities as part of a wider career exploration.

Is Brill Street a temp agency or a job posting site?
Brill Street isn't a temp agency or a job/resume posting site. When you're accepted as a Brill Streeter, we look for opportunities that best use your talents, and we counsel and guide you in each assignment, to make the most of your potential.

How long does it take to get a job?
Typically, your Talent Manager will present you with opportunities within a month.

What companies do you work with?
Companies who are looking for more than just warm bodies. You could work at a Fortune 500 corporation or a fast-growing start-up, in any number of industries and positions. For examples, see Currently Open Positions.

What kind of experience do I need to work with Brill Street.
You don't have to have work experience; you do need good grades and a great attitude, plus at least 20 hours a week available for work.

Do you offer anything other than internships?
Yes, we have short-term assignments, internships year-round, internship-to-permanent positions and even direct hire, for recent grads.

A self-motivated, well-rounded student with good grades, an even better work ethic, and the openess to see where their talents can take them.

Yes, if you're an F-1 visa holder we can help get the permission you need to work off-campus.
